Nabha Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Version 1.0 · Last updated 17 August 2026 · Varalix Digitech Solutions

You must not, and must not allow your users, devices or integrations to:

Safety and intended use

  1. Use Nabha as a safety instrumented system, protective, interlock or emergency-shutdown function, real-time control system, or as the sole means of detecting, preventing or responding to a hazardous, safety-critical or life-critical condition. Nabha is a monitoring and analytics tool; you must operate your own independent alarm-management and safety layers.
  2. Rely on the absence of a Nabha alarm, or on the currency of a dashboard, as confirmation that plant or process conditions are normal.
  3. Apply an AI-suggested field mapping, unit or scale to any process decision without a competent person reviewing and confirming it.

Unlawful, harmful or infringing content (IT Rules 2021 Rule 3(1)(b)) 4. Host, display, upload, transmit, store or share information that: belongs to another person and to which you have no right; is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, or encourages money-laundering or gambling; is harmful to children; infringes any patent, trade mark, copyright or other proprietary right; deceives or misleads about the origin of a message or knowingly communicates misinformation; impersonates another person; threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or incites an offence; contains software viruses or any code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource; or violates any law in force.

Security and integrity 5. Probe, scan, penetration-test, stress-test or attempt to breach the security of Nabha or any tenant, or access data of another organisation, without our prior written permission (responsible-disclosure reports are welcome — see the Security Overview). 6. Share, embed in firmware distributed to third parties, or publish your MQTT/broker credentials, API keys or user passwords; use another organisation's credentials; or attempt to bypass authentication, tenant isolation, quotas or rate limits. 7. Introduce malware, or send payloads crafted to exploit the parser, broker or dashboards.

Fair use 8. Exceed the published limits of your plan (devices, message rate, payload size, retention, AI inferences, users, API rate limits) or use automated means to circumvent them; run signup automation; create accounts for others without authority. 9. Use the Service to build a competing product, resell or sub-license it without our written agreement, or scrape or bulk-export other than through the export features provided. 10. Send unsolicited commercial email or SMS through, or in the name of, Nabha; misuse the alarm-notification channels.

Enforcement. We may suspend or restrict access immediately and without notice where the platform, other customers, or third parties are at risk or where the law requires, and otherwise after notice; we may remove or disable access to content, preserve related records for 180 days as the law requires, and report unlawful activity to authorities. Repeated or serious breach is grounds for termination under the Terms. Report abuse: founder@nabha.cloud.

We may update this AUP; material changes are notified with 30 days' notice, and all users are reminded of it at least annually.
